CONFIDENTIAL MULTINATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY

Location: Northern California

Client: Confidential

Role: General Contractor

Project Value: $1M

Size: 1.2MW

A Fortune 100 multinational technology company needed to rapidly deploy a high-density compute environment within an existing 18,000 SF data center in Northern California. To achieve this, they turned to Constructiv to manage the design and build of a critical MEP fit-out.

With the rise of GPU cloud computing demanding greater power and efficiency, the project required the creation of a 6MW high-density environment. Constructiv implemented a Starline busway system to distribute power at 415V and installed conduits to support A+B power distribution, enabling 35kW per rack. To enhance operational efficiency and thermal management, the team integrated hot aisle containment and installed coolant distribution units (CDUs). Additionally, fiber tray systems and low-voltage conveyances were deployed, alongside a structured telecom network for seamless connectivity.

Results

From concept to execution, Constructiv delivered a robust and scalable infrastructure, ensuring the client could meet the increasing demands of high-performance computing.
