Located in Denver’s interconnection alley, RadiusDC’s 1500 Champa facility required critical infrastructure upgrades to support growing demand and enhanced interconnection capabilities. Our team was selected as the general contractor to deliver mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services to upgrade their live data center without disruption.

Key Deliverables

  • CRAC and ACCU Installation
Installed four new CRAC units and four ACCUs, including crane hoisting to upper levels, rooftop placement, rigging, and return air plenum installation.

  • Refrigerant Piping System
Provided new refrigerant piping systems with roof penetrations, pressure testing, and full charging with R-410a refrigerant. All work met rigorous performance and insulation standards.

  • Air Distribution Enhancements
Furnished and installed over 100 return grilles (RG-2 and RG-4 series), including relocation and matching to existing aesthetics.

  • Controls Engineering
Delivered complete controls programming and network integration for the new systems, including optimized sequencing, commissioning, and owner training.

  • Commissioning Support
Supplied air balancing services and 40 hours of technician support to ensure a smooth and efficient commissioning process.
