CoreSite, a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) with 21 high-performance data centers across North America, selected Constructiv to lead their Project and Construction Management Program across multiple West Coast facilities. As both Owner’s Representative and General Contractor, Constructiv was responsible for managing complex infrastructure upgrades critical to CoreSite’s mission of delivering reliable interconnection, cloud, and colocation services.

Constructiv was tasked with overseeing the planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and day-to-day management of multiple technical infrastructure projects. Each effort required strict adherence to schedule milestones—both critical and non-critical—while ensuring zero disruption to active customer operations.

Key Projects

• DE1 DC Plant Capacity Expansion
  Constructiv managed the installation of two high-ampacity DC plants and all associated support systems to increase power delivery and system reliability within the facility.

• DE1 Chiller Plant Controls Addition
  Acting as the integration lead, Constructiv ensured the successful implementation of the Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) control platform. The system was configured in a lead/lag arrangement to enable full redundancy and operational resilience.

• DE2 DC Plant Replacement & Redundancy Upgrade
  This project involved the replacement of an aging DC power plant, including new battery string installations and the commissioning of two new redundant Eltek DC plants. Constructiv also led a carefully planned transition of over 25 active customers relying on DC power—executed without any downtime.
